Coming to the Peabody Mill Environmental Center: Family Fun Days! Come with the family and make a craft, learn a skill, or just have fun with some organized games. Fun for the whole family! Each month on a Saturday will feature a different program. 
Most programs have an outdoor component, so please dress for the weather. 

Water Country tickets are available at the Amherst Recreation office for $29 each. That's a savings of $10 off the regular admission price!
Stop by the Rec Office weekdays 8am-4pm for purchase. (Parking fees not included)

Fall Softball Registration
Ages 9-12

Fall softball is a much more relaxed experience.  Players build their knowledge of the game by playing games on weekends throughout the fall.  This is a travel program with games in Milford, Hollis, Bedford, Brookline and Wilton.

True Potential: Fitness for Women
This ia a program designed specifically for women which encompasses nutrition, result-based workouts and mindfulness.

Horseback Riding

Lessons for Grades 2-12
Students will learn the anatomy of a horse, barn management, tack, grooming and ride in their outdoor or indoor ring.

Open to Adults
Amherst Recreation is excited to offer two levels of Tai Chi (Tai Chi Easy™ and Tai Chi Flow) this fall.  Tai chi improves muscle strength, flexibility and balance.

Archery Instruction
Two Groups: Grades 1-4 & 5-8
Starts 9/19
The program will teach the basic fundamentals of shooting target archery focusing on safety and proper shooting form.
