Baboosic Lake Summer Camp - Counselor in Training

Volunteer Counselors in Training (CIT) will work with our camp counselors, under the direction of the program director, to provide a fun camp environment for all children. They are expected to arrive at 9:00 and stay until 3:00. Please bring a bathing suit and your lunch. Water is available for re-fillable water bottles.

Students entering grades 9 & 10 will be considered for the position of Counselor-in-Training (CIT), this volunteer program is for Amherst & Mont Vernon residents only. We will accept two CITs each week in the program and each CIT is limited to two weeks in the program. CITs must sign up for a full week time period, this is a week long comittment. These positions are filled on a first come first serve basis.

Please note that you must register online in the weeks that you want to volunteer and complete the Counselor in Training volunteer application to secure your spot. The Counselor in Training volunteer application form required for CIT's is available on this website in the Department Information section under forms. There is a small program fee.
