Growing Up Wild for 3-5 year Olds


WED OR THURSDAY????

PMEC's naturalists will lead you and your preschooler in an exploration of our diverse natural environment in this program designed to engage young minds. Stories, music and movement will be a part of your child's’ experience. Please bring a water bottle and dress your child in appropriate footwear and clothes for the weather and light hiking. This program may take place both indoors and out.

Your program fee includes all five sessions:

Oct. 30th Oh, Deer: Children explore the parts of a habitat through various physical activities

Nov. 6 Looking at Leaves: Children practice their observation skills by comparing leaves

Nov. 12 Terrific Turkeys: Children learn about wild turkeys and how they grow in the wild

Hiding in Plain Sight: Children play different versions of hide and seek to learn about important adaptations in many wild animals

What’s Wild?: Children engage in stories and different fables about nature

May 14th: In a Grasshopper’s World
May 21st: Fun in the Lab
May 28th: Hiding in Plain Sight
June 4th: Fishing Fun
