Native American Studies

Explore the natural world while learning great skills!  Learn to make: flower charms, lip balms, identify plants and trees and plant journals.   Also learn wilderness survival skills such as shelter making and map-reading.  Instructor Nicole Colvin-Griffin brings 20+ years of experience in creating programs and teaching children of diverse ages.  She delights in bringing her passion for nature to children and adults through programs that will develop their interest and creativity. 

Bring a water bottle; wear appropriate footwear and clothes for the weather and that you can move in.

Classes take place 3:45-5:30pm on Fridays at the Peabody Mill Environmental Center at the end of Brook Road in Amherst. 

Session Dates: May 1, 8, 15, 22.

A minimum of 4 participants are required to run this class. 

Join us all month (4 classes) for only $50!  Advanced registration required.
