Finish summer off with a huge splash while rafting down the Kennebec River in northern Maine! Join us as we embark on our first overnight trip with our new mini bus! We are thrilled to be offering a white water rafting trip in West Forks, Maine. We will be leaving Amherst, NH at 9am on Wednesday, 8/26 to head to Maine. To break up the drive we will stop at Ocean Park Beach and grab lunch along the way. Participants will arrive at Three Rivers, White Water Rafting Co., in West Forks Maine for dinner on Wednesday night. They will enjoy some evening activites before heading to their cabin for the night. All participants will receive a buffet breakfast on August 27th, before heading out to the river to raft. We will raft along the river for 12 miles (or about 3.5 hours) before enjoying a late lunch and action video before we head home.

Space is limited to 13 participants. A minimum of 6 is needed to run this trip. Two recreation staff members will be chaperoning the trip. Please call 673-6248 for more information!

9am- Depart from the Souhegan High School Parking lot
11:30am- Arrive at Old Orchard Beach, Maine (please bring money for lunch)
2:30pm- Depart Old Orchard Beach for Three Rivers
5:30pm- Arrive at Three Rivers
6pm-7:30pm- Dinner
8pm- Free time, bonfire, games and bed
Thursday (8/27)
7am-9am- Buffet Breakfast
10am-2:30pm- White Water Rafting! (one snack will be provided)
3-4pm- Late lunch
4:30pm- Depart for Amherst
6:30pm- Break for dinner on the way home
9:30pm- Arrive Home- Souhegan High School Parking lot
