Mark Twain House day trip
Jump on board as we travel to Connecticut for a historic day. We will be visiting the Mark Twain House, the Mark Twain Museum, and watching a documentary about his life. We will arrive at the Mark Twain house for an 11 am guided tour of the house. At noon we will meet for a catered lunch inside the facility. Afterward, we will get the chance to explore the Mark Twain Museum, watch a documentary and visit the Mark Twain shop. We will be departing from the Walmart Super Center Parking lot at 8:30am, and departing from CT at 3pm

Opened in 2003, The Webster Bank Museum Center at The Mark Twain House & Museum offers visitors an opportunity to learn more about Mark Twain, his family, the historic house, and the author's legacy. This state-of-the-art facility houses our ticket desk; the Aetna Gallery with a permanent exhibition on Twain's life and work; a rotating exhibition hall, The Hartford Financial Services Theatre, showing a Ken Burns mini-documentary on Twain; classroom space; the lecture hall-style Lincoln Financial Auditorium; The Mark Twain Store; entertaining spaces like the soaring Hal Holbrook and the sunny second floor café/patio area.

Where: Meet at the Walmart Parking lot, Amherst NH
When: depart Amherst at 8:30am; depart CT at 3pm
Fee: $39R; $49 NR

Lunch is included in the fee. They will be serving sandwiches, salads, drinks, and dessert!
