Outdoor Discovery
 Play, explore, and discover at our Outdoor Discovery Camp at the Peabody Mill Environmental Center this Summer!

This summer, the Outdoor Discovery camp has gone to full day. Each day, Campers will take part in all camp games, sports, art, nature and water play geared around that week's theme. Every week, campers will have to option to attend our weekly field trip (they are listed below). If you cannot attend the field trip, we will have activites back at camp.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays we will go to Baboosic Lake for swim time from 1-3pm. Half the camp will go one day and the other half the second day. 

Campers will need to bring: a labeled water bottle, change of clothes, bathing suit, towel, snacks, lunch (no peanut or tree nut products please!), sunscreen, bugspray, closed toe shoes for hiking, sandals for water play.

Full Summer Rates: $895R; $1,175NR (extended care not included)
Weekly Fee: $155R; $195NR

Extended Care: 7:30am-5:30pm
Fee: $14R, $16NR per day 
       $60R; $70NR per week

Daily Schedule
9-9:15am: Drop Off- Ampitheater
9:15-10am: Community Time - We will have a large group game or activity
10-10:15am: Snack Time
10:30-11:15am: Activity Period One (Sports Block)
11:15-Noon: Activity Period Two (Art/Nature)
12-1pm: Lunch
1-3pm: Water activities/hiking
3-4pm: Stations/Pick Up

Weekly Themes
Week One (6/20-6/24): Funk in the Forrest
Let's kick off the summer with a music festival at PMEC. It's time to make your own instruments using the materials of nature, and get ready to put on a show!

Week Two (6/27-7/1): Where the Wild Things Are
What wild things can be discovered at PMEC? let's see what we can find!

Week Three (7/5-7/8): Builders Quest
Let's build! What materials can we build with this week? Legos? Sticks? ropes? Let's find out as we use different materials to build fairy houses, lego castles, and even forts for campers to escape to!

Week Four (7/11-7/15): Kid's Choice Week
Campers will vote the week before on a theme of their choice!

Week Five(7/18-7/22): To the Moon and Back
3,2,1, blast off! Join us as we encounter aliens as we travel to infinity and beyond! We will be making beautiful art pieces showcasing the moon, and diving into our aliens vs. humans battle of the fittest game.

Week Six (7/25-7/29): Survivor
It's time for a little friendly competition! It's the survival of the fittest at PMEC. We will be hiking, building, and creating different ways to attack the outdoors! We will be playing Camp-wide Capture the flag games..so get ready for some competition!

Week Seven (8/1-8/5): Wet n' Wild
It's all things water for our last week at camp! Squirt fights, water balloon challenges, and of course swimming. Make sure to pack your bathing suit for this water-filled week at camp!

Field Trip Information
Outdoor Discovery Summer Camp will join friends from Baboosic Lake Summer camp for field trip days, all on Wednesdays! (Some dates may be subject to change). Field Trip prices increase by $10 if payment is not in the Friday before the trip.
