We will be offering an additional two weeks of camp at the Mont Vernon Village School. Please see below for the weekly theme breakdowns and an overview of activities:

"Wild About Science" Summer Camp Weekly Themes
Week One: Exploring Habitats! - Focus on Env. Science, Biology and outdoor fun!
A week of building, exploring and creating. Who lives at the MVVS in the summer? We will find out. Macro invertebrates, oh my! We will explore the forest, field, edge and nearby pond habitats. We will create shelters for animal friends, models, and ones we can play in.
Each day there will be creative art/craft projects, group games and team activities.
Week Two: Nature Detectives! - Focus on STEAM and outdoor fun!
Can Plants Stop erosion? Let’s learn through creating models and getting messy!
Who lives under your feet? Make a Berlese funnel and find out!
We will do experiments to: learn about cleaning up oil spills, using rooftop gardens to keep buildings cool. Each day there will be creative art/craft projects, group games and activities.
Baboosic Beach Days! On Tuesdays and Thursdays the Wild About Science Camp will be heading to Baboosic Lake! Please check in with your camp coordinator to see which day your child is going.
