Create Your Own Cutting Board

Come join us in the shop and build a custom wood art board. This sturdy board is great as a game board, serving tray, or a cutting board. A lazy susan can be attached to the bottom for a centerpiece service tray.
 
This course will help teach the average woodworker with average materials and the humblest of wood shops create unique and eye-catching wood creations in your own basement or garage. Come join us as we explore and create wood art.

This class can be given as a gift and will come with a free, personalized lazer cut and engraved gift card. Please call the Rec Office at 603-673-6248 to personalize.

Meet your Instructor!
Stephen Carey has thrived in a home shop for over 40 years, making unique wood art using average tools and supplies. He has 'been there and done that' on a budget and knows how to help fellow amateur woodworkers succeed.

Stephen’s involvement with woodworking began in a high school shop class and continues to this day, making woodworking a passion. He lectures in and around his home state of New Hampshire on such subjects as Segmented Wood Turning, Linear Radius Turning, Multi-Generational Concepts and Design, Shop Design & Development and Simple Holiday Gifts You Can Do At Home. The proud parent of 3 boys and husband to his wife Carol, they live in rural New Hampshire where he enjoys woodworking and fly-fishing. Stephen holds degrees in both business and theology.
