Holiday wreath design at PMEC... reuse, recycle, revamp your old wreath, or design a plain one from scratch!
Got an old tired wreath that's seen one too many holidays? Or maybe you've always wanted a wreath that matches your own personal style. Why not breathe new life into it and spruce up the old to create a wreath that's perfect for your personal taste and home decor. Learn how to take a plain artificial wreath and dress it up for the holidays.
Carole Birse, creative designer at Bedford Fields is offering a class on wreath decorating at Peabody Mill Environmental Center. Carole will show you how to crate using ribbons, embellishments and the tips and tricks of the decorating trade. What's the key to any well done wreath? A beautiful bow! Don't know how to make one? Not to worry Carole will show you, or make one for you. 
Bring your old or new wreath, any specific ribbons, garlands, and embellishments you would like. Or we will offer a limited selections of ribbons and embellishments for you to use.  Bow making will be provided.

Carole Birse is a current resident of Amherst. She is a Creative Designer at Bedford Fields where she has been creating wreaths, flower designs and decorating for multiple years. She is thrilled to pass along her ideas and knowledge.
