From Bark To Twigs - Learn Tree ID

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Leaves are a great tool to identify trees, but what if you can't reach the leaves? What if it's winter and there are no leaves at all? The ability to identify trees and shrubs by their bark, twigs and buds is a very useful skill for anyone who spends time in the woods. And for many species, buds and bark are actually easier to identify than leaves. Join us for an afternoon to learn the ins and outs of tree identification at Peabody Mill Environmental Center.

What: A FREE presentation about identifying Tree species
