Join Amherst Middle School's own Coach Rodon in this all-around skill development camp for girls entering grades 3rd through 9th. This unique camp utilizes decision training drills and specialized workouts to help players improve their ball handling, shooting, decision making, athleticism and all around offensive & defensive skills. The camp is challenging yet fun for all skill levels. Players will gain valuable insight on what is to be expected in order to perform at the middle school and high school level.

About Coach Rodon
Coach Benjamin Rodon is entering his 7th season as a 8th Grade Social Studies teacher and the Girls' Division 2 Head Coach at Amherst Middle School. Since returning to Amherst Middle School Coach Rodon and the other coaches have been hard at work in instilling a love and passion for the game of basketball in every player they work with. In 2021, the program saw one of the highest turnouts in tryouts in recent years and the program resulted in successful seasons for both teams. This season the Division 2 team completed their 10-4 and earned the 5th seed in the playoffs. With leadership of Coach Jeff Wing, the Division 6 team completed their undefeated season with a convincing championship victory; the first Girls' championship since 2006. Coach Rodon is looking forward to this wonderful opportunity to work players this summer to prepare them for more successful seasons.
