The Amherst Rec Department is headed to the LL Bean Flagship stores to celebrate the Freeport Fall Festival. We will be exploring exhibits of handmade art, devouring local food and shopping at LL Bean.

This is the perfect trip for those who love craft fairs, wondering around quintessential downtowns, or are planning ahead for the gift-giving season. There are over 150 exhibits of photography, paintings, woodworking, live music, and specialty food.

When: Friday, October 4th
Where: 8:30 AM Meet at Walmart on Amherst St (look for the white Amherst Rec bus)
Fee: $35 R; $45 NR

Plan for the Day
  • We will leave Walmart at 9 AM
  • It is about a 2 hour drive to Freeport
  • Participants will be dropped off and free to explore
  • We will meet at a designated meeting spot at 3 PM to head home
